ESR Technology has implemented a focussed recruitment drive to enable ambitious growth plans agreed when Hyder Consulting acquired the business during 2011. New roles are being filled in all parts of the company with new starters arriving every month.

The Safety & Risk team is pleased to welcome Dr Zhixin Hu to its established team of technical safety experts, who have a long history of delivering some of the largest and most complex projects in the oil & gas industry.

Dr Hu joins us from a previous role with Shell Global Solutions in Thornton. Prior to this he gained experience of fire and explosion modelling for building safety strategy development. His MSc in Fire Protection Engineering and PhD in Mechanical Engineering were completed at the University of Maryland, College Park in the United States.
