ESTL hosts Space Tribology Course

ESTL yesterday (18th September) hosted its unique Space Tribology Course at the University of Hertfordshire to coincide with the 17th ESMATS conference which begins on 20th September at the same venue. The course was attended by 40 delegates from 26 companies and 14 countries around the world. The delegates represented the full range of space mechanism interests from academic and new entrants to the space market up to well established spacecraft and equipment prime contractors. Feedback was very positive, “A great overview and in-depth explanation”, “…excellent set of notes, “ …thanks for a great course”.

Plans are in place for the next update of the course to be presented in the USA to coincide with the 44th Aerospace Mechanisms Symposium , to be held in Cleveland, Ohio next year.
